The main path to the Foundation for the Future team is through the Advisory Day application period and recruitment event organised twice a year. Next application period will be in early spring 2024.

What is PwC Consulting?
At PwC Consulting our daily purpose is to create value to our customers by helping them to solve the most critical issues on their agenda. As a consultant you will have an opportunity to solve our clients' business problems: We improve the way they operate; accelerate their growth; reduce their costs; manage their risks; develop their business competences and change the way they do business. Our clients are mostly Finnish listed companies and PE companies acting across different industries. We provide our customers business analysis from a strategic point of view, but also help them to implement the changes.

We are a team of +100 dedicated professionals based in Helsinki, divided into three competence teams working closely together.
What is Foundation for the Future?
Foundation for the Future team is a Consulting junior team consisting of all of our Trainees and Associates. Main idea of the team is to build individual’s core consulting skills and provide an opportunity to explore project and sales work across the competence teams and industries before making a decision of the future career direction when being promoted to Senior Associate (typically within 1-3 years).
As a Consulting Trainee / Associate, you will typically get to:
- Work on different client projects
- Participate and contribute in client meetings
- Actively solve client problems and contribute by bringing own solutions and ideas
- Prepare client materials (final reports, workshop materials, status reports, etc.)
- Participate in sales cases (for example by preparing proposal materials)
- Conduct data, processes and business analysis
- Support in project or program management
- In addition, typically young consultants will get own responsibility on some specified business development topic inside Consulting

We offer both Trainee and Associate positions in the Foundation for the Future team. Typically after the Trainee period (4-6 months) our Trainees are given an opportunity to continue straight to a permanent Associate position.
